Coach Bags: The Complete Guide to Every Line
Founded in 1941, Coach originally made men’s small leather goods, and women’s handbags followed later and grew into the core of the brand. Tailored shoulder bags, relaxed hobos, satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and archive reissues all sit within the present-day selection of coach handbags. In turn, this walkthrough covers what each major bag is, when it appeared and how it is built. When a launch date is documented, it is noted; several well-known lines, by contrast, have no reliable launch year on record.
Any price quoted here is an observed market price from 2026 instead of an official list price, and amounts change with size, material and promotions. If you are choosing your first coach bag, it helps to know that similar names can refer to wholly different designs. Certain shoppers type “couch bag” when running a search for a Coach bag, which can draw listings for furniture into the results because the word also refers to a sofa.
Tabby
The Tabby is a structured shoulder bag built to be worn crossbody as well, with detachable straps and Signature “C” hardware. Based on a form from Coach’s 1970s archive, it was introduced by Stuart Vevers in 2019. The photographer Juergen Teller coach leather goods reportedly shot the launch campaign, “Dream It Real”. Product listings have shown sizes 20, 26 and 36, while the core product name is Tabby Shoulder Bag.
The puffy Pillow Tabby followed in 2021, offered under names such as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting. The Tabby 26 was observed selling at $475 in the US and £475 in the UK, with quilted and special-edition versions priced above it. Buyers who want one bag for both day and evening are well served by it, because it moves easily between shoulder and crossbody wear.
The Brooklyn
Far closer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby, the Brooklyn is a soft, slouchy coach shoulder bag crafted in natural-grain leather. Its release came in August 2024, in the wake of a showing on the Fall 2024 runway. Two main sizes have been reported, the Brooklyn 28 and the bigger Brooklyn 39. Said to be spacious enough for a 15-inch laptop, the 39 is a practical choice for work.
Reports for Spring 2026 pointed to a newer Brooklyn Carryall shape, yet it is separate from the shoulder styles. At John Lewis in the UK, the Brooklyn 28 was observed selling for £350. The RealReal’s 2025 resale report noted that searches for Coach had climbed 160% and cited the Brooklyn among the bags mentioned; this number, however, measures searches rather than resale prices.
The Rogue
The Rogue is Coach’s structured satchel, designed with top handles and a shoulder strap. First seen on the Fall 2016 runway, the bag was subsequently discontinued; a 2021 relaunch brought it back. At the upper end of Coach’s leather range, the line includes versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. The top Coach bag price observed in 2026 was for a Rogue 25 in alligator, observed at $8,000.
Coach also offers a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken roughly 12 weeks, or about 16 weeks with exotic materials. Restored Rogue bags have been offered through Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program. For a lot of collectors, the Rogue demonstrates how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can go.
The Empire Carryall Family
The Empire Carryall is an elongated, east-west top-handle bag bearing the product name Empire Carryall Bag 34. It was shown on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway and launched in February 2025. Fashion press reports said, it sold out on the day of its release. The structured Carryall 34 is separate from softer variants called Soft Empire, among them a Soft Empire 40.
For UK shoppers the Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475 on Coach’s own site. Its long top-handle shape makes it a dressier alternative to a coach tote bag for everyday carrying. While comparing listings, confirm the number that follows the name: 34 and 40 are different bags.
Kisslock Styles Compared: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Coach links the Kisslock motif to the Bonnie Cashin era; the name belongs to a frame clasp based on vintage coin purses. A number of different bags share the term, and they should not be treated as one. The Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was reported as the first look shown at the Fall 2026 show and has been observed at $350. As earlier Kisslock Frame versions also turn up in listings, the family may predate that show.
Today, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 appears chiefly as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved; it is an older style with quilted nappa leather and rivets. Drawn from a 1973 design, the Kisslock Barrel Bag came as a Spring 2026 Coach Originals reissue. The name found yet another use when a Kisslock Backpack was also shown for Fall 2026.
The Swinger, the Swing Zip and The Coach Originals
Made up of newly made reissues of archive designs, The Coach Originals is a line of bags that are new rather than vintage. The Swinger is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag with a turnlock, and Coach places the original design in 1987. Today’s version is the Swinger Bag 20, which also comes With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. Modeled on a 1998 design, the Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag, meaning the two names are not interchangeable.
Other Originals reported in early 2025 included the Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005. It has been reported that the Coach Originals name was already being used by 2020. For shoppers who want an archive look without the wear of a properly vintage piece, the line makes sense.
The Soho Names: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
Soho is one of the most easily confused names in the Coach catalog since it covers three different products. In 2006, the original Soho Flap made its debut. Produced in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard, the Soho Bag 25 is a smaller, newer reissue rather than that 2006 bag. Soho styles belong to The Coach Originals, and a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather has also been offered.
In contrast, the Soho Sneaker is footwear, featured by Coach in 2025 and 2026, putting it among shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. To tell the bags apart from the shoe, include “Bag 25” or “Flap” to your search. Consult Coach’s own website before buying, as no reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured.
The Willow, Cassie and Juliet Lines
These three lines are familiar, but none has a documented launch year, so approach any date you see online with caution. The Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag have all appeared in Willow, a family in pebble leather. Coach’s own website has also offered a Custom Willow Tote, and the Willow Tote 24 is a straightforward example of a coach tote bag. The Cassie Crossbody Bag 19, fitted with a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, belongs to Cassie, a crossbody and top-handle design.
Under newer style codes, Cassie styles have kept appearing on Coach’s own website. Sold in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30, Juliet is a slouchy shoulder bag in glovetanned leather. Because availability changes by season, verify whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current before relying on an older review.
Observed Prices: Every Line at a Glance
The table below sets out the main lines alongside their shape, key date and an observed 2026 price where one was reliably captured. These are observed market prices, not an official Coach price list, and they change with size, material, color and promotions. UK prices include VAT, while US prices exclude sales tax. Outlet styles get their own promotions at a coach outlet, whereas full-price styles can be marked down during sales.
Set up as Coach’s own official channel, Coach Outlet trades through outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website. About 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel, according to a 2014 quote from Coach’s head of investor relations. Tapestry has since talked about bringing some full-price collection product into outlets, and that figure is dated. Current-season lines are found at a full-price coach store or on Coach’s own website.
